Previously we were Music Centre Canada, but now we’re known as Day’s Music, Red Deer’s locally owned & operated music store. We pride ourselves on providing an atmosphere for our customers to shop for their favorite products, hassle-free! We’re also here to provide our expertise in getting you the right tools for job, whether it be the right instrument, proper string gauge, or accessories to enhance your playing experience!

Over the course of the year we’ve welcomed new team members to our Music School — we’re also celebrating the ones who helped us create such a great atmosphere for people of all ages to learn!

NEW: Erin Fredlund – Teacher

With 20+ years in teaching and having attended the Royal Conservatory of Music in Ontario, Erin teaches piano, voice and ukulele to all ages. Erin’s philosophy of music is simple; sharing her passion with her students. By providing music appreciation, succession in practice and creativity in teaching, anyone willing, can learn and succeed. She has spent over 25 years performing, teaching, directing and encouraging the next generation of musicians. Erin’s being honing her skills through multiple opportunities such as recording studios, worship music, musical festivals and exams. She wants to take what she’s learned over the years and share that with her students!

NEW: Ethan Rose – Teacher

With 8 years of experience in performing in the Red Deer Royals, attending cross country tours performing in stadiums, to local festivals and parades, Ethan teaches drums for all ages. Although fairly new to teaching, Ethan’s approach to teaching music is personal and approachable, all while having fun! Ethan’s wide range with taste in musical genres allows him to best cater the lesson for his students, opposed to the one-method fits all style teaching.

Nick – Teacher

Nick has been with Day’s Music from the VERY beginning! With 6+ years experience teacher, 10+ years playing and a diploma in Jazz Guitar from Red Deer College, Nick provides students of all ages with a fun and exciting learning experience where he teaches you what you WANT to learn. He makes sure that every student is excited about the song or technique they’re working on and that they see the progress they’ve made.
